Household Moving FAQ’s

We have very old and expensive possessions, can we be assured that they will be protected?

Yes, we have experienced movers who can safely secure your belongings with pads, straps, and bubble wrap.

We are not sure that all of our furniture will fit in our new house. What can we do?

This happens all the time and there are a few options available. We can store your excess furniture in our warehouse, dispose of it for you, or take it to the charity of your choice.

We have bought new furniture to put into our new house. Is there any way that Admiral Movers can assist us with this?

Yes, we can pick up your new furniture from a store and deliver it along with all of your other possessions.

We have busy schedules and don’t have time to pack. Is there any way that Admiral Movers can help?

Yes, here at Admiral Movers, we have a team of experienced packers who are able to pack your entire house in a safe and effective manner.

We have to move out of our place soon but we can’t move into our new place for a few days. Is this a problem for Admiral Movers?

No, we are able to store your belongings for a few days or a few years depending on your needs.

My child is moving away, is Admiral able to move only their belongings?

At Admiral Movers, we are able to move as little or as much as you need.

Can I move some high valued items myself?

Yes, many people like to move their jewelry, pictures, and other irreplaceable items themselves. Items worth more than $100 per pound are what we consider “high value” items.

How can I move my pets?

We understand that it is hard to figure out what to do with certain pets during transport. We are unable to move your pets on our moving vans but we can make arrangements to assure your pets a safe and efficient transport.

If I store my belongings in your warehouse are they safe?

Yes, we store your belongings in a secure storage vault in our 24 hour surveillance protected warehouse.

How much does it cost to receive an estimate?

Nothing, our Move Consultant is able to come to your house and provide a free estimate.

When is the best time to move?

We recommend that you do not schedule your move during  the summer months or at the end of the year. These are typically the “busy” times for moving.

Office Moving FAQ’s

My Company needs to move on a weekend. Is that possible?

Yes, most of our office moves take place on weekends or after-hours. This saves your company money due to not having to shut down for a day. 

We have very expensive computer equipment; can it be moved in a safe and secure way?

Yes, we specialize in moving valuable equipment such as computers. We use bubble wrap along with special carts specifically designed to move computers.

Our office is a mess and we have no plan for moving it. Is there any way that you can help us plan to make the transition as efficiently as possible?

We can provide a service assistant who can provide a step-by-step plan to ensure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

We are buying new furniture for our office. What can we do with our old furniture?

There are many different ways to dispose of your old furniture. We can take or do almost anything you want with your old furniture. These services include: storing the furniture in our secure warehouse, selling the equipment, or taking it to a charitable organization.

We have confidential documents that need to be secure during transport. How can you ensure confidentiality?

We understand that some files need to be secured from wandering eyes. We provide a secure method of transport that allows your confidential documents to be safe and protected. 

We are moving into a smaller office space and we don’t know what to do with all our files?

We provide record storage in our safe and secure warehouse. Our record storage team can provide you with document storage, document retrieval, and fast deliveries. If you decide to store your files with us, you have guaranteed access to your files year round.

Our offices have very expensive floors. How can you assure us that they will not be damaged?

We place masonite on the floors to protect them. This allows us to move heavy items with no damage to your floors.

Our main office is now becoming two offices. Is there going to be any confusion?

Not at all. We provide labels that will allow you to determine what goes where. This will allow your company to move in a safe and effective manner.
